Joanna Betteridge, Acc M LEADR

Joanna Betteridge is a lawyer and the sole principal of Betteridge Legal Consulting, an employment and OHS Legal Consultancy.

Joanna is an Accredited Mediator registered under the Mediation Act 1997.  During more than 20 years in private legal practice, Joanna has represented parties in many mediations and conciliations.  It was a natural progression, having trained in mediation and having been an interested member of LEADR for more than 10 years, for Joanna to take out accreditation as a mediator.

Joanna is a member of the Industrial Relations Society of Victoria, Workplace Conflict Resolution Forum Reference Group.

After commencing her legal consultancy in 2004, having previously worked for 11 years as a partner at Maddocks, Lawyers, Joanna Betteridge is well qualified to advise and represent employers, businesses and senior executives on a wide range of employment and OHS issues.  She provides advice, training and representation in all aspects of employment and OHS legal compliance and risk management including:

Joanna lectures in the Monash University Law Faculty post graduate program in the workplace law and safety law areas.  Joanna also sits on the Boards of Austin Health and Melbourne Citymission.
