Gavin Wright, Acc M LEADR

Gavin is a financial planner and is the principal of Wright Planning.  Gavin originally trained in Mediation in 1983 with Latrobe University legal service in conjunction with his major in legal studies. He has used this training throughout his career in the financial services industry. Gavin subsequently trained in mediation with LEADR in 2004 and is an Accredited  Mediator under the Mediation Act 1997.

Gavin was appointed to the Financial Industry Complaints Service in January 2004 as an industry representative. Gavin started working in the financial planning industry in 1986 and has worked in the insurance, banking and accounting sectors, but with always a focus on financial planning. Gavin was a partner equivalent at KPMG running their financial services business in Victoria and Tasmania.

Since leaving KPMG Gavin has owned and operated a boutique financial planning practice, Wright Planning, providing impartial and strategic advice to clients on a holistic and fee only basis. Gavin has lectured for the Securities Institute for over ten years and was Chair of Education for FPA in 2001-2003. Gavin has been on the board of Bone Marrow Donor Institute and was treasurer of the Fairhaven SLSC.

Gavin is an executive committee member of the Victorian Chapter of LEADR.
